About this role

Vectary is the first browser-based 3D design platform and it requires a multitude of front-end applications and back-end APIs to faultlessly communicate. We are looking for a new colleague to help us achieve better quality and speed throughout the whole software development lifecycle.
‍

We believe an experienced quality assurance tester would help us not just with testing every single new feature and keep the stability of the product but also brainstorm the best version of the features with our product team. Therefore you will be working closely with the Product team, on the other hand, you will be part of the engineering team as a final tester who gives a green to release the new features to production.

Your responsibilities

  • As a part of the release cycle, you will test all features, bug fixes, and the whole application before we deploy the new version to production
  • Maintain the list of test scenarios and execute manual testing to ensure the stability of FrontEnd and Backend applications
  • Suggest test scenarios and run the automated tests (tests are coded by our development team)
  • Cooperate with the Product team to understand the handoffs for new features and help meet the quality and requirements
  • Check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems
  • Generate and store test reports, and interlink them with the release requirements
  • Log and document bugs in our tracking system
  • Collaborate with developers, product team and managers on daily bases

Our requirements

  • Proven experience with manual testing of software or web applications for at least 3 years
  • Experience with QA methodology
  • Basic knowledge of testing tools
  • Fluent English is a MUST since we are a globally distributed team

Nice to have

  • Experience with API manual testing tools (e.g. Postman)
  • Understanding how CI/CD works
  • Experience with Cypress or any other E2E or integration testing frameworks
  • Knowledge of Performance and load testing
